Clinical Supervision & Consultation
I offer clinical supervision to LPC/LMHC/CPC associate therapists in Colorado, Washington, Nevada, Utah, and Massachusetts.
Working on your Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) credential? I’m an ACS and can provide the required consultation.
Starting a private practice and realizing we were never taught business skills in our master’s programs? Want to become a clinical supervisor, but have no idea how to get started? Let’s talk about professional consultation.
SUPERVISION FOR THERAPISTS
in the real world
The mental health field has changed immensely in the last 10-15 years. Every new therapist graduating can sense that. All of us who have been working through the last decade are well aware. But most grad programs still have a curriculum that thinks it’s 1995.
As a result, early career therapists often find themselves navigating an industry that bears little resemblance to the story they were told. There are so many things that grad school doesn’t teach us. That’s where I come in.
Supervision is not just checking the boxes and making sure the bare minimum is happening for your clients. With me, supervision is a place where you can explore uncomfortable topics, dive into advanced nuances of client care, recognize and address your own patterns, make mistakes and say the wrong thing without judgment, build a sustainable practice, brainstorm new ideas, get support during a crisis, and explore the trajectory for the rest of your career.
Take a look at my Therapy and About Me pages to learn more about my clinical approaches and previous experience. If I sound like a good fit for you, reach out for next steps.
"Laura provides knowledgeable guidance across a wide range of areas. She is relatable, resourceful, and well-rounded - consistently creating space to explore how personal life intersects with work, fostering critical thinking and awareness of bias, and acknowledging the real challenges of this work, all while supporting my growth and stretching me as a clinician."
