Individual Therapy Services

YOU DON’T HAVE TO STAY STUCK.

I offer individual therapy to adults who are tired of carrying around the residue and baggage that trauma leaves behind. That might look like PTSD, depression, anxiety, burnout, or some combination of all of those symptoms. Trauma can show up in our bodies, hearts, and minds in a lot of different ways- often not obvious ones. I have over 10 years of experience working primarily with trauma, and helping clients find and heal the root causes underneath their symptoms. I can work with clients located in Colorado, Florida, Massachusetts, Nevada, Utah, and Washington.

EMDR THERAPY

EMDR is an empirically supported treatment for PTSD and trauma symptoms, and has benefits for depression, anxiety, addictions, and more. EMDR helps us get underneath our intellectual brains (what we active during talk therapy) and into the emotional and somatic parts of the brain where trauma lives. I am EMDR Certified, meaning that I have advanced training and experience in providing EMDR therapy. Whether you choose an intensive or weekly therapy, EMDR can be a powerful tool for healing.

RELIGIOUS & SPIRITUAL
TRAUMA THERAPY

If you were negatively impacted by or abused in a cult or high control religious system, it can cause a type of trauma that runs deep under the surface. Especially for those of us who grew up in it, religious core beliefs and internalized theology can impact every part of our lives, including our brain development and attachment style. If you think this might be you, let’s talk. I’ve been there personally and can understand and support you with the nuances of religious and spiritual trauma.

DEPRESSION, ANXIETY & BURNOUT

Depression and anxiety can make everyday life feel exhausting and even debilitating. For many of us, life can’t just stop. And so we keep going despite what’s going on, and that often results in burnout on top of everything else. I am trained in therapies such as IFS-informed parts work, ACT, polyvagal theory, and somatic techniques to support your healing and help you take your life back.

Are we a good fit?

I blend models that involve working with the body, the wounded parts of the brain, and our emotions. While I certainly can stay in the cognitive space, my work is the best fit for clients will to dive into other parts of themselves and explore healing in new ways.

Intensives can be a standalone service, or part of our ongoing work together. Intensives can be really helpful when you need to make a lot of progress now, if you have a schedule that doesn’t really work with a weekly therapy appointment, if you’re interested in a modality that tends to be more effective in longer sessions, or if you’re simply interested in them.

MY APPROACH

01. Consult

We’ll start with a 20-30 minute free consult call, usually over Zoom, to get to know each other a little bit and talk about what services would be the best fit for you. I’ll answer any questions you have about my approach, difference between services (like individual therapy vs. EMDR vs. ketamine assisted vs. an intensive), logistics, and anything else that comes to mind! If everything sounds like a good fit, we’ll schedule your first appointment.

02. First Appointment

During your first appointment, we’ll talk more about your goals for therapy, symptoms, and background. We’ll also make a plan for your next steps, which could mean scheduling ongoing therapy sessions or planning for an intensive.

03. Get to Work

Whether we work together for a weekend or for a few years, I’m here to support your growth, healing, and change. The therapist’s role is to be a lighthouse, not a lifeboat. I hope to help illuminate the path, but I don’t save or fix anyone. The work is yours, and so is the reward.
